NCE named companies that use antibiotics in their products
НЦЭ назвал предприятия которые используют антибиотики в своей продукции 19.12.2019

In order to ensure the quality and safety of food products, the laboratories of the National Center of Expertise of the KKBTU Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted about 5,757 studies to determine the residual amount of antibiotics over the 9 months of 2019. Of these, exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations of antibiotics was found in 11 cases where the drug chloramphenicol was detected.

The study covered products included in the basic diet of Kazakhstanis. In particular - milk and dairy products, poultry, meat and meat products, poultry eggs and other food products.

According to the research results, the following products were included in the list of violators of food safety and compliance with the technical regulations of the Customs Union:

Bacon “Healthy Farm”, boiled and smoked meat product, production: LLC “Healthy Farm Delicatessen”, Russian Federation;

Soup set, frozen semi-finished product from broiler chicken meat, production: Agrofirma Borovskaya CJSC, Russian Federation;

Semi-finished product from broiler chicken meat, production: Ural Meat Company LLC, Russian Federation;

Minced cutlet “Worthy choice”, production: LLC “Fininvest”, Russian Federation;

Broiler chicken carcass, production: Sredneuralskaya Poultry Farm LLC, Russian Federation;

Baltic ham, production: Kudryashovsky Meat Processing Plant LLC, Russian Federation;

Pork roll “Fantasy”, production: CJSC Meat Plant “Sovetsky”, Russian Federation;

By-products from broiler chickens, production: Altai Broiler JSC, Russian Federation;

Frozen kebab “Caucasian”, production: JSC “Omsky Bacon”, Russian Federation;

Boiled sausage product “Muslim”, production: Zhaiyk Agro LTD LLP, Republic of Kazakhstan.

Today, despite the ban, chloramphenicol is widely used in veterinary medicine not only to treat animals, but also to stimulate their growth. An antibiotic, entering the human body with food, reduces the sensitivity of microorganisms to antibacterial drugs, which complicates the treatment of infectious diseases.

In addition, antimicrobial drugs often inhibit the natural microflora of the gastrointestinal tract, leading to a decrease in immunity and the development of allergic diseases.
